Ed opened the doors of the A+1 Transmission Specialists facility on August 8, 1978. The facility is the largest Transmission facility in the Kerr County Area. The A+1 Transmission Specialists is a general repair facility that specialty is transmissions. Ed is an International ATRA Board of Director Region V which includes Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi; and the current President of the ATRA Southwest Chapter (Texas). Ed is also ASE Certified and a long time member of ATRA; locally he is the Treasurer of the Turtle Creek Volunteer Fire Department for the last twenty years and actually involved for (30 years); he has the rank of Sargeant in The Former Texas Rangers Foundation; he holds memberships in The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, West Kerr County Chamber of Commerce, U. S. Golf Associatin, Schreiner Golf Course, NRA and most importantly a member of the First United Methodist Church.
